WHAT IS THE HOTEL DESK AND WHEN DO I USE IT? 

Global Patina’s Hotel Desk is a resource for existing clients to make quick hotel room reservations for simple trips—when you know where you want to stay, and the expertise of a destination specialist isn’t needed. If in-depth hotel consulting, concierge services, logistics assistance, or destination advice is needed, then working with a Global Patina will ensure the best experience! 

 

HOW DO I BOOK A HOTEL USING THE HOTEL DESK?

Clients can book online via Global Patina’s Virtuoso Booking Portal, or by emailing camilla@global-patina.com. Note: Four Seasons Hotels are not available online and can only be booked by phone or email. 

HOW DO I USE THE HOTEL DESK ONLINE?

One of the perks of the Global Patina’s Hotel Desk is its online booking portal, where users can search for hotel availability, check room rates, and confirm reservations online. 

When you’re ready to book your hotel online, click the “Book Hotel” link above. You’ll be redirected to Global Patina’s custom Virtuoso booking portal where you can enter your search criteria. To view rates and availability, select your preferred hotel from the search results. When you’re ready to confirm your booking, select the red “Book” button next to your selected room category. 

If it’s your first time using the Hotel Desk, you’ll be prompted to create an account. Otherwise, you can proceed to payment information. After entering your credit card details and confirming your booking, you’ll receive an email with all booking details. The Global Patina Hotel Desk will also reach out within one business day to reconfirm your reservation and collect any additional information. You will receive Virtuoso amenities and VIP status with every Global Patina Hotel Desk booking. 

Please note that if it is your first time using the Global Patina Hotel Desk, you can only create a Virtuoso account from a desktop or laptop computer. 

 

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF BOOKING VIA THE GLOBAL PATINA HOTEL DESK? 

Booking hotels via the Global Patina Hotel Desk typically earns special amenities, including room upgrades, daily breakfast, welcome treats, and hotel credits (usually ~ $100) at applicable properties. Additionally, each hotel reservation receives Global Patina’s personal touch as we ensure the hotel is aware of your travel needs and preferences. 

 

WHAT IF I CAN’T FIND THE HOTEL I HAD IN MIND?

If the specific hotel you have in mind isn’t listed or showing availability via the online portal, our Hotel Desk can be reached by emailing camilla@global-patina.com.

CAN I BOOK FOUR SEASONS HOTELS?

Four Seasons properties are not available online, however you’ll definitely want to book via the Global Patina as we are a Four Seasons Preferred Partner agency (which means the ultimate amenities for you). Please email camilla@global-patina.com for assistance.

 

I’M TRAVELING WITHIN THE NEXT 24HRS, CAN I USE HOTEL DESK? 

The booking tool does not allow for bookings made within 24 hours of travel. You cannot cancel or change a booking via the Virtuoso Booking Portal. Please contact us directly if you need to change or cancel your reservation.
